MEC MAVHUNGU LERULE-RAMAKHANYA TO ADDRESS INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME GRADUATION CEREMONY TODAY
Limpopo MEC for Education, Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya will today deliver the keynote address at the graduation ceremony of the Instructional Leadership Programme. The programme is a strategic partnership between the Limpopo Department of Education, the University of South Africa (UNISA) and the Education Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA).
The ceremony celebrates the successful completion of the year-long blended learning programme by a cohort of school and curriculum leaders drawn equitably from all the 10 Education Districts of the province. The graduates, comprising principals, deputy principals, departmental heads, and curriculum advisors have been equipped with advanced skills in Curriculum Delivery, Instructional Supervision, ICT Integration, and Human Resource Development.
The graduation takes place under the department’s annual theme of Transformation and Development, and against the backdrop of South Africa’s ongoing commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 on quality education.
Members of the media and the public are invited to take note of this important milestone in the province’s efforts to improve the quality of teaching and learning through strengthened school leadership.
