Limpopo Education Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya will lead a solidarity walk with over 1 200 Matric learners at Giyani in the Mopani East Education District on Friday Morning. The Solidarity walk is to mark the 30 days countdown before the start of the 2023 final Matric Exams. Mopani East is one of the three districts that performed below 70% in 2022. 27 schools from three circuits have been invited to join and be part of the countdown programme.

The countdown event is also meant to drum support from Parents, guardians and stakeholders to give Moral  support to learners as they prepare for their final Basic Education hurdle.

The Solidarity walk will start at the Giyani Community Hall to Harvest Time Church where the MEC will give a keynote address. Participants are expected to wear full school uniform.
