The Limpopo Education MEC Polly Boshielo has expressed her heartfelt condolences on the sad passing of the Northern Cape MEC, Mac Jack, who passed away yesterday. The MEC’s condolences are extended to MEC Jack’s family, friends, relatives, his colleagues and the entire Northern Cape Provincial Department of Education.
MEC Boshielo said: “We are truly heartbroken to have lost such a dedicated servant of the people. This is a sad loss not only to his family but to the sector and the people he served. He served our people with unparalleled commitment. We relied on him for wise counsel and guidance when tackling matters of the sector. We will miss him and his valuable contributions”
His selflessness is something he demonstrated without fear in our interactions and he did so in the interest of the learners that he was mandated to serve. May his family and the department he led, find peace and strength in these difficult times. May his soul rest in peace” she concluded.
